Community Support for Harisiddhi Community Learning Center

Harisiddhi Community Learning Center serves as a hub for adult literacy and skill development among housewives from low-income families. The center also provides tutorial classes for their children, conducted by volunteer teachers. Additionally, the women manufacture handmade bags to support their families economically.
The community has identified the following needs:
1. Two low-height tables (2’ x 4’)
o Estimated cost: Rs 10,000, to be temporarily transferred from Remaining fund of Project account at Himalayan Bank Ltd.
2. Carpet for the floor (250 sq. ft.)
o Contribution: Contributed by Rtn. Indira N Joshi
3. Two whiteboards (3’X5’)
o Contribution: One contributed by Rtn. Indira N Joshi and another by Rtn. Rupak Das Tamrakar.
Logistics
The beneficiary will arrange transportation of the goods independently.
Project Scope
This initiative represents a small-scale community support project undertaken by the Rotary Club of Lalitpur. It aims to enhance the learning environment and productivity of the Harisiddhi Community Learning Center, thereby empowering women and children in the community.
