Rotary Club of Butwal Downtown successfully organized an Educational Materials and Warm Clothes Handover Program at Shree Bhagwati Secondary School, Bhumikasthan–7, on 7th February 2026. The project benefited 250 students from underprivileged families by providing essential educational supplies and warm clothes during the winter season.
The initiative aimed to support students in continuing their education without disruption while ensuring their comfort and well-being during cold weather. The total budget allocated for the project was Rs. 200,000. The program was supported by BBC Global Education, founded by Club President Nominee Rtn. D.B. Rayamajhi, and was chaired by Club President Rtn. Baburam Banjade.
The distribution ceremony was conducted in the presence of school management committee members, teachers, Rotarians, and community representatives. The school authorities expressed sincere appreciation for the timely and meaningful support. This project reflects the club’s continued commitment to educational upliftment and community service.
