Project Description
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu completed constructing a gender-specific toilet block at Shree Indreni Secondary School, Panchthar.
The facility includes four separate sanitation spaces and a handwashing station. This project will benefit over 400 students and the local community, promoting better hygiene and a healthier learning environment.
By ensuring access to proper toilet facilities, the initiative is expected to increase school attendance among girls during their menstrual periods and help every child learn with dignity and confidence. The worth of the project is NRs. 826303. It is the joint collaboration of Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Rotary Club of Lebanon, RID 7850, USA and Better Life Social Organization (BLSO) USA and Nepal
