Project Description
Rotary Peace Poster Drawing Competition was successfully organized on 17th November 2025 at Deep Boarding High School, under the Rotary International Focus Area: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution. The program was chaired by Club President Rtn. Krishna Parajuli, who emphasized the importance of cultivating peace‑building values among young students. A total of 18 Interactors from 11 Interact Schools enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and understanding of peace through art.
The event was organized by the Rotary Club of Butwal, with strong support from its partner Rotaract Clubs and Interact Clubs, as featured in the official program banner. All participants were provided with a kit bag, diary, drawing book, and participation certificate, ensuring an encouraging and motivating environment for the young artists.
During the award ceremony, the top performers were honored with cash prizes and recognition. The Winner received Rs. 8,000, the First Runner‑Up received Rs. 5,000, and the Second Runner‑Up received Rs. 3,000. Additionally, Consolation Prize recipients were awarded Rs. 2,000 each, along with a medal, trophy, and certificate, acknowledging their commendable effort and creativity.
Overall, the program successfully promoted the message of peace, strengthened inter‑club collaboration, and provided a meaningful platform for Interactors to express their vision of harmony through art.
